Robotic Dinosaur, Robotic Disaster
There have been many movies and books based on the premise of dinosaur attacks, all of them fantasy of course, up until now. Truthahol has recently learned of an incident which involved not a real dinosaur, but animatronics meant for entertainment; and a man who lost his feet, despite the fact that they remained inside the vehicle at all times.
Last year at an undisclosed, but nonetheless infamous amusement park known for its magical proportions, Cyrus Lacerta was severely injured while on a ride. To make up for the lack of steep drops, high speeds, and generally exciting rides, this amusement park employs strong storytelling and thrilling themes. This specific ride sends people into the past to rescue a dinosaur from impending comet-caused doom.
Unfortunately, Cyrus was the one that needed to be rescued that day. While Cyrus was on the ride, a distracted ride technician accidentally crossed some of the robot control wires. The lights went out and amid the darkness and screams, Cyrus only remembers a sharp pain in his ankles before he passed out. No one else on the ride or any of the theme-park scientists operating the ride that day can explain what happened next— without saying the impossible.
When he woke up in the hospital later that day, doctors informed him that his feet had been retrieved from the mouth of one of the animatronic dinosaurs. Although the cuts were jagged (as if from the bite of a T-Rex) doctors were able to reattach his feet and with the help of physical therapy he is now able to walk again. With a hefty sum of money, and a score of mouse-related merchandise, Cyrus agreed to keep his mouth shut about the incident. However, almost a year later, he regrets this decision. He worries about other riders that may be in danger because of his silence and feels guilty every time he sees the large ears on his coffee mug.
